iLog · Legal information
Terms of Service
1. Provider and scope
These draft terms cover the iLog website, account portal and associated Android account service. Provider: Ahmed Fahim Abajtit and Company, [POSTAL ADDRESS], [CONTACT EMAIL]. Provider details and the intended customer market must be confirmed before these terms take effect.
2. Service and feature availability
iLog provides account access, a pilot profile, profile synchronisation and weather information. Features available in the Android app may differ from those on the web. Website flight entry, cloud logbook storage, scanning and iOS availability are not promised by a description of planned functionality. The feature status shown in the product applies. The scanner may only be used with iLog books containing the designated iLog page template. Books from other providers and other page layouts are not supported; an iLog account alone does not make them compatible.
3. Registration and account security
Provide accurate account information and keep your password and device access secure. Register only if you have legal capacity to enter the contract, or the necessary authorisation. Do not share credentials or impersonate others. Report suspected unauthorised access through [CONTACT EMAIL]. You can revoke sessions in Security.
4. Acceptable use
Use the service lawfully. Do not access other accounts, bypass security, upload unlawful material, introduce malicious code or disrupt the service. Upload only data and images you are authorised to use. Any restriction or suspension must be proportionate; where practicable we will give reasons and a way to contact us, unless immediate action is needed for security or law.
5. Your records and aviation responsibilities
You retain your rights in your content. You permit the processing and display necessary to provide the requested service, including synchronising your account profile and photo. Check all entries, scans, totals, licence information and medical expiry dates yourself. Keep independent copies of important records. iLog is not a substitute for legally required records, official weather briefings, navigation, medical assessment or operational flight decisions. Official recognition of a digital logbook is not guaranteed.
6. Weather and third-party services
Weather, maps and airport data may be delayed, incomplete or unavailable. Use authoritative aviation sources and applicable procedures for operational decisions. Third-party services may have their own terms; their availability is outside our direct control.
7. Prices and paid services
iLog will offer paid products or services. Prices, included features, applicable taxes, payment method and whether the offer is a one-time purchase or a subscription will be displayed before you place a paid order. Creating an account does not itself create a payment obligation. For subscriptions, the billing period, renewal conditions and cancellation procedure must be disclosed before purchase. Applicable consumer withdrawal information must also be provided, including any legally required express agreement for early performance or digital delivery. Purchase of a compatible iLog book does not include paid app access unless the offer explicitly says so. The payment provider, prices and final purchase and subscription conditions remain to be confirmed; no checkout was identified in the reviewed implementation.
8. Ending your account
You can end use and delete your account through Security after confirming your password. Active server account data are removed as described in the Privacy Policy; local app data and existing backups are separate. Preserve required records before deletion. We may end or restrict service for serious breaches or legal/security reasons, subject to applicable law and reasonable notice where practicable.
9. Availability and liability
Maintenance and interruptions may occur; no uninterrupted availability is promised. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, or mandatory consumer rights. Liability for negligent breach of essential contractual obligations remains subject to applicable law; any further limitation requires legal review for the provider jurisdiction and customer market.
10. Changes, law and contact
Material changes to these terms or the service will be communicated with reasonable notice where required; silence is not treated as acceptance. Mandatory consumer protections and access to legally competent courts remain unaffected. Governing-law and dispute-resolution provisions are to be confirmed once the provider location and customer market are known. Contact: [CONTACT EMAIL]. English and German versions are intended to have equivalent meaning. Draft prepared on 4 October 2026; not yet effective.
